Hi All,
I just came out of a meeting with one of my customers and they raised a crazy request which i have no idea if and how to respond to:
they want to allow GR (goods receipt) only to the user that created the PR (purchase requisition)... all the regular GR of stock goods will be executed in a legacy WMS application so that's not an issue. what i need to figure out is how can i limit GR where LogOn User Name Is equal to User Name in PR...
I know this is crazy and unreasonable, but my convincing powers were unsuccessful this time around... maybe when i return with an answer that it's possible, but requires hours and hours of programming they'll decide that it's not worth it :-)

Your staff is not big enoguh and SAP may not let you. If GR are code driven you would then need a role and a code for each user.

Doesn't this also fly in the face of segregation of duties ? Get your internal and/or external auditor's opinion.
