Similar to R/3 or BW world:
- installation, patching & upgrades
- CTS
- performance tuning
- backup, restore & recovery

Not really. The Basis team is responsible for BW 3.5 installation but the EP work usually is done by a different team of technical people - people with LDAP, etc. knowledge.
