We have Password parameters set on ECC
login/min_password_digits 1
login/min_password_specials 1
login/password_downwards_compatibility 3
login/min_password_uppercase to 1
login/min_password_lowercase to a value 1.
Issue: We have different interfaces which are connected to SAP with the same password credentials thru RFC. Wanted to find the logs how password acceptance from Third party system to SAP.
I tried to figure it out thru SM21.But in Vain. I am not sure whether this is the right way.
Please drive me in right direction..........

Are you having problems?
An RFC login uses the same code as a dialog login just not through the same screen. SM21 shold show problems in cryptic details. STAT will show excrutiatingly painful detail for 24 hours and ST03 or ST03N will summary data.
THe external system feeds the password to SAP so it is identicle to using the logon screen, the passwords must match so the encyption stored in USR02 has to match.

Thank you for your reply.
I wanted to find whether any conversion of password(lower to uppercase) while SAP Accepts password from the legacy system.
Please advice whether is there any way to figure out, how the passwords are being exchanged with each other.
