Hi,
i want to delete a master record in general ledger. i have archived the file through transation SARA and while deleting the system gives an error saying the user name has not been authorised.
How shall i give the various authoristations to the user.
I am not talking about roles i have defined roles and i am taling about Authorisations

Hi,
its wrong forum but to short-cut some misunderstanding:
In PFCG when you generate the role the system creates authorisation profiles with all authorisation objects and setting described in the role.
When you give a role to a user then he will get the authorisation profiles and all the authorisation objects.
If you have the role but still no authorisation then:
- the role is not generated
- the user's authorisation is not consistent (run user compare)
- the role does not contains the required authorisation object/value.

I do not know how to delete a ledger from master data. Transaction SU53 should help to find out what authorisation is missing.

Hi Kandakumar,
Once you login with user id and password, after running the tcode which have no authorization , run the tcode SU53, it will show you all the missing authorization, in respect to specific object.. Once you have that information, go ahead and those missing auth..
