Can any provide any input, documentation ro procedures regarding implementing Security within Enterprise Portal. Our company is looking to implement this and I don't have any knowledge about the subject matter. I have read some stuff on Sapnet and thats about it.
It would be helpful if anyone has gone through the portal implementation and get their input. Also it would be a great help if you can provide any information or documentation.

Enterprise protal is, unfotunatly, used to describe several things to SAP . It is used to describe R/3 4.7 ( no basic change in Security) or it refers using the web interface what SAP use to call Workplace ( an expensive individual webpage builder for angenerally installed base of SAPGUI users) , or it refers to LDAP "access" assignment to network users. or it means....
So what do You mean by it?...

Go to the SAP Developers' Network at sdn.sap.com and browse the Enterprise Portal pages. You'll find that user administration for portals has very little to do with anything you've learned about managing users for SAP R/3. New skills and new opportunities ?
