Background User Last Logon Date

Question: Hi Guys,
I'm trying to see if a background user account is still accessing the system. If not I will delete the account. I don't want to delete the account if it's still being used.

Is there a way to see a log or at least the last connect date of a background user?

Table USR02 apparently does not log this info for background users.
Thanks!

Answer:
No you can NOT. Be aware that not all background sessions are logged!!
So deleting because of NOT proven access is the wrong way to go about this!!

What you should do: Find the reponsible person for every background user. And ask them if access is still needed.
Second step for every Background user you can not find a responsibel person: Lock it. Whan after a couple of weeks non one has coem with a problem you can try to delte it. But be sure to Know what kind of access the deleted users had. As it is possible that you will need to recreate it later.

Never delete system users like DDIC. as they are needed!

OK. Sounds like a plan. Thanks. However, it seems like a major omission by SAP not logging background user connections or at least the most recent connection.

Answer:
Sap loggin is primarily based upon access to transactions, a large part of RFC and other background jobs do not use the transactions, so no records
