Hi,
does anyone know if there is a standard SAP solution to control the estimated value of an order through setting a financial release in roles?
In this i mean that the value is calculated from the estimated costs in the order. and by setting an autorisation we want to restrict users in only to be able to release orders of a value of lets say les than 25000 and other users to be able to release above 25000

Not with standard SAP security, You can use Validations and substitutions for this.
Seams though there is an obscure realse code option but it may not apply to the tcodes you are dealing with. Run a ST01 authorization trace to see if there is a check and then look in th eIMG for configuration.
