Question:
Hi All,
I want to enforce security at a field level for certain fields (MARA-MPROF, MARC-KORDB) in Purchasing view of Material Master change transaction (MM02). Is it possible to define authorization object associated with this field?
The approach I was looking at till now was with following steps:
Step 1: To configure field groups in customizing. Adding fields (I want the users to be able to change) to distinct field groups.
Step 2: These field groups can then be authorized using a certain authorization object (I could not find how to create authorization object for field groups).
Step 3: Authorize access to the field groups (By assigning authorizations to various roles)
