If i have made the following parameter changes, when will these take effect for exisiting users once the system is re-started. Will these take place right away, so when the user logins in it will force them to change the password.
Password Length (6), password must contain (1) number and password should expire every 90days.

Answer:
It will occur when the user has to next change the password. SO if you set one of the parameters to force a change after x days, it may cause many to change the password at logon.
You can force it by changing the field LTIME in the USR02 record to 00:00:00. You have to do it programatically, but it will force the password change.
