PSIGN with Structural authorisation

Question: Hi
Will the following PSIGN settings work all right with structural authorisations?
AUTH LEVEL: ‘D, E, S, W’
PSIGN: ‘E’
Infotype: *
Subtype: *
The reason is I am facing a problem with transaction PA30.

On Master data maintain screen the system is displaying the employee details when an employee number is entered. On the same screen when another employee number is entered the system is not displaying the employee data unless we go out and back into the same transaction.

Also when I search employee name first name is appearing all right but for the second name system is showing the name but displaying a message ‘Results list is incomplete due to missing authorization’.

Answer:
Hi Rad,

It seems that your company has really thrown you out in the deep water, since you have got a lot of questions concerning HR.

I will at all times do my best to help you of course, but have you thought about asking for a course in HR security? HR940 or perhaps HR050. It would really make your life a lot easier.

And to answer your question. It will have no effect at all what you put in PSIGN concerning structural authorizations. As stated earlier, P_PERNR is only concerning your own personnel number. Only use of PSIGN with 'E' is if you would like to explicitly state that certain infotypes must not be accessed on own personnel number. This should not be confused with structural authorizations.

Answer:
My questions may look foolish to others, but I am asking the said questions based on SU53 and ST01 trace result. I never faced the said problem and SU53 and ST01 are giving false and contradictory remarks.

But one thing I want to refer to the forum when I switch off the structural authorisation (for the role) the authorisations are working well and the said problem is not faced. I am using evaluation path O_S_P in T77PR.

Also the structural authorisation is working well at OM side. Any suggestions are highly appreciated
