The log files created for secaudit are growing in size. I want to delete files older than a specified period. I defined a job deleting files older than 15 days. I am not sure whether 15 days is the right choice or not.
Is there any suggested period for storing the audit files?

Answer:
This can only be answered by your audit staff, legal, or controller based on your corporate data retention guidelines.
Bu 15 days is too short as it will not cover a financial close where many of the problems are discovered. You will be probably looking at 45 to 60 days as the minimum.
