Hi all, i have a problem here in that in the ESS i need to select an approver (which should show everyone) but yet i am not suppose to access these users when i am doing normal functions like maintain HR master data. Is there any advise how i can solve this 'deadlock' ?

Can you please elaborate a bit on your problem? You are talking about showing people in who's who and maintaining HR master data. To me it sounds like two very different concepts, that can be solved by simple infotype restriction.
