Hello,
An auditor just told me that you can add transactions to a user's profile directly, skipping the process of adding the t-code to a role and assigning it to a user. I've never heard of that. I know that you can add profiles via the profile tab in SU01; therefore, not associating a role with a user. But, adding t-codes directly? Is this possible or was this possible in an earlier release?

No not in the way youmay have interpreted it... You can MANUALY add S_TCODE to the user's profile ( or to the profile via the ROLE) or by assigning a reference user to the user definition ( serogate role/profile assignment). the only TCODE you can assign directly to the user is the "start tcode" but you must be authorized to run it.
