Friends,
I am facing problem in migrating ep 5 content to ep 6.
My first hurdle is how to define the ep 5 system in ep 6.
I have tried several ways but i am ending with same error message
Export objects of type SYSTEM was unsuccessful,
Reason Root Cause: parseSystems(): Failed to get Systems.xml ,null
Please let me how to define ep 5 system in ep6

Database Administrator ID
For this i have given the database administrator id of oracle which portal was using
Database Administrator Password
Password of Database Administrator
Driver Class Name
com.sap.portals.jdbc.Oracle.OracleDriver
EP 5.0 server Name
Given the ip address of the ep 5 portal machine
EP 5.0 Serve Port
?
j2ee Server running port (2777)
Location of EP 5.0 Styles
?
I have uploaded all the zip files which i have downloaded from Styles->Related Tools->style archives.
What we have to give here?
Location of EP 5.0 System Landscape
I have copied landscape folder which is availabl in ep5 at the mentioned location to ep6
and has given the path where it is there.
I have fetched landscape in ep 5 from :drive:\enterprise portal\tr\system
Location of EP 5.0 User Management
I have copied all the content from
irj\webinf\plugins\portal\services\usermanagement\data
and copied to
usr\sap\<system_name>\j2ee\j2ee_00\migration\ume
This directory structure is not existing in ep 6 i have created.I have given this path
Location of EP 5.0 ZAR Files
I have copied the zar file com.sapportals.pct.comm.fw.zar
to
usr\sap\<system_name>\j2ee\j2ee_00\migration\zar
I have given this path
Please help me in resolving this...
