Limit Access to new company

Question: We're taking on a new company and we want them to use our same PRD system however we don't want them to access any of our data and vice-versa. What's the best way to accomplish this? If the new company has a seperate company code, can I assign that company code to each role I create and have that do the trick? For example, can user A access VA01 to create a sales order with a profile that has company code A assigned and not see anything in company code B?

look into trx Su24 or table USOBT / USOBT_C to investigate in which TRX company code is possible as restiction.
Can tell you in a lot of areas Company code is NOT avialable so for these you have to look at other restrictions.

It depends on how many and which modules you are using, but for FI & CO, you might be able to isolate a good chunk of what you need by using a combination of unique Controlling Areas and Company Codes; and Plant for MM.
