Password resets

Question: Hi All.....Need some advise

Is there anyway to reset passwords for a group of users(i.e. if i want to give the same initial password to all the users) without having to do it invidually for every user via su01. There's no CUA as well in this environment.

Is there a solution for this?

Answer:
We do it using LSMW - we only use this for the training users eg Train1, Train2. We first ensure they are unlocked (via SU10) and then reset the passwords before a training course (to a password agreed with the trainer).

Hi Sandi...Thanks for the info..
What project/sub project do you use in lsmw?
Is it a custom project or a SAP standard one?

Good to get a response from someone in NZ.

Answer:
We do this with a CAT. You can easialy record one yourslef

Answer:
All my LSMWs are done under a project called something like ZSecurity.
It was created at implementation. I just create sub projects as required.
Recorded a change of password and used it as the basis of the object processing.
