Hello,
I'm compiling a list of how many SAP security admins different companies have --- I need to do this to convince management that we need some help. So far, I only get information from companies where I have friends work in --- I guess my question is -- is there an easy way to find out this information?
Basically, the info I need is:
1. Company Name
2. How many systems and what kind? (i.e. 2 = R/3 and BW, or 3-R/3, BW, and CRM, etc).
3. How many users across the system or just in R/3)?
4. How many roles across the systems?
5. How many SAP security admins?
I realize that perhaps one doesn't want to post the answers here (if you don't mind, that's great) in the forum. So, if you're interested in answering my questions volunteraly, please send me a PM, I'd really really really appreciate it.

We have a staff of around 2500, all of whom have reocrds maintained in SAP HR. Of these ovwe 1300 are SAP users (mostly time sheets or basic employee self service type functions). We use FI, CO, HR, PY, PM, PS, MM, LO, SD, BW & SEM.
We use position based security and have a very fluid org structure (constant re-organisations, temp/casual staff getting troated throguh various jobs and sites).
I am the only Security Administrator. I develop/create auths in the Dev system for all new projects, ongoing imporovments etc as well as assigning said acccess in Prod. (I do not create user accounts.)
I have a back up who does basic acess assignments when i'm away but no development stuff.
In summary, the answer to your question is..

Me too for now Only me. I'm stretched waaay too thin at this time. We have 6 different systems (R/3, CRM, BW, GTS, xRPM, Portal, and a WAS we use with web app) --- over 7,000 users just in R/3..... It's crazy. In my old company, we had over 5 people doing security. There used to be 3 here, but with layoffs.... just me.
