I have a need to mass assign userids to roles via an HR org structure instead of using su10 or direct role assignment. (hope this is clear) Does anyone use Role to position based security and know of a way to mass assign without having to go into the roles and assign one by one?

I do this via LSMW.
I record the assignment of the role to the position in PO13 and use that as my batch script.

Answer:
SEc_KB, using PP01 on an org unit, created relationship b 007 with the role name. Then run RHPROFL0 on that org unit. I think this is the way to do it...
in our HR we did investigate it, but rejected this approach for a common role that all users should have.
