Question:
Any ideas on how to make the following business scenario work in SAP:
1) Returned products are received from the customer
2) The prodcuts are sent to a subcontractor for disassembly
3) Product shall be consumed and parts shall be received into stock
4) Subcontactor receives a fee

I'm currently facing the same problem.
The only solution I've found yet is to create a production order with an external operation, with the main component as the finished product and with the BOM including the returned product + all the other parts as by-products (negative qty in BOM).
Is there no easier solution ?
