Hi all
This is a peculier environment.
One of the BOM component has seasonal avaialbility.
Ex;- Sugar in chacolates manufacture is a rawmanterial.
Sugar will be purcahsed for some months of year in local markets & some months it will be imported.
Accordingly it should be planned for some months local procurement & for some months it willbe for imported procurement.
How to proceed with this requirement in SAP.
Can any one help me in this situation.

The outcome of MRP run is the procurement proposal (either planned order or purchase requisition) which does not indicate from where the source of supply is to be made (unless the source list record with MRP relevant indicator is set as '1' or '2' in the source list). Therefore, it is the responsibility of the purchasing staff (using purchasing group) to determine from where the PR should be ordered (ie. determination is to be made on whether the local PO or import PO is to be made when converting your PR into PO).
