Hi MM Gurus,
I want to allow negative stock for some materilas
I did the followings:
I allow negative stock in same plant >
SPRO > Materials Management > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Goods Issue / Transfer Postings > Allow Negative Stocks.
Then I activate the "Neg stocks in Plant" indicator in the material Master Record in "Plant data/ stor.2" view.
However, Still I can't post from zero stock.
is there any thing still missing.
My valuation level is Plant level.

Hi,
If you want to allow negative stocks in your plant, you have to set the XBKNG indicator. To maintain this indicator, choose the step Goods Issue/Transfer Postings -> Allow Negative Stocks in Customizing. Activate at storge location level also. Other wise system won't do the negative stock.

Hi Gama,
I am getting the storage location in that setting (OMJ1). In the notes also they are saying clearly, negative stock will be allowed if the three level settings as to be activated - Plant level , storage location level and material level.
Is there any storage location in your plant (we can't issue without Storage Location). If it is not, create storage location and check it.
