Hi all,
When i am using the forecasting model 'D' (Constant), what will be the impact if I set "Parameter Optimization" check box?
What I tested in the system now is that the system will run in and provide a different result that a constant model will suggest.
So, should I tick the parameter optimisation if I want to run Constant Model?

Hi,
This indicator enables the system to optimize the smoothing factors needed by the given forecast model. When the indicator is set, parameter optimization is carried out both for the first and for subsequent forecasts.
I would suggest you to use it only you do not have the proper historical consumption data. Otherwise, it is not recommended as it will have the impact onto your system performance.
