I have created a BOM for a subcontracting material with two alternatives BOM's.
Each of the alternative has been assigned to two different production version in the Material Master Record of the subcontracting material (MRP 4 View), and the selection indicator for the alternative BOM's has been made to Production Versions only (3 in the dropdown) (MRP 4 View)
In the subcontracting info record for the subcontracted material, I assigned the production version, which is assiged the first alternative BOM.
When I am creating the subcontracting purchase order, the first altenative BOM is identified and components are showed in the Purchase Order.
When I changed the Production version in info record, which is assigned to second Alternative BOM, this BOM is not identified in the Purchase Order, and system is expecting to enter the components manually.
Please help me out how to get the second alternative BOM identified in the subcontracting order.

Hi,
Did you check if the second alternative production version is active in the Material Master (MRP View 4)?. When you changed from Production Version 1 into 2 in the Subcontract Info Record, did you deactivate for Version 1?.

Where to check whether the production versions are active in MRP 4 view, as i am unable to find a field over there...
