Hi All,
We have a scenario, where specific materials will be sold until they are in stock (inventory). They are to be discontinued once the available inventory is done.
Is there a way to make a hard error while creating a sales order for these materials alone, say if the ordering quantity is higher than inventory.

Answer:
try a user exit which issues an error message when the sales order quantity can not be fully confirmed, this should be possible if you do ATP check against inventory
