Hello
We are installing ECC 5.0 on Windows 2003 Server on Oracle 10.2.0.2.
We received an Installation error at Phase 31 of 34 (Starting RFC JOBS).Installation fails due to :
"

FRF-00025 Unable to call function. Error message: Exception
condition "WRITE_FAILED" raised."
I did retry and started again, it fails again. Cannot proceed further.

Is this an error that happens at around 96% into the installation? It means that your new SAP system come up fast enough. So break out of the installation, bring you system up manually using the newly installed SAP MMC on your desktop, and then restart the install.
If it isn't happening at 96% into the install, let us know and we will rethink the matter.

What you can do is :
*logoff from the admin user doing the installation
*log in into with user <SID>adm
*Try to restart the SAP instance
*logout and login with the user doing the installation, and should works
