Hi all,
We have 6 apps servers. Most of the background jobs that run on the first apps server are failing giving the TemSe error.
Exact system log is as follows:

TemSe input/output to unopened file
RSTS: Failed to prepare for commit, return code 08
===========
Note# 188753 says some NFS error. But nothing of that sort had happened.
How can I stop the jobs from failing?

As per 188753 have you cancelled without core all BTC work processes?. You must do this before going further.

Answer:
To identify the problem better you need to get more information on the RC8, I would check the WP logs, and all trace files for the extension of the error. Any additional info will be useful.
The times I have has the error it has been file related but for all temse errors I like to run note 48400 as SAP will request this of you if you get stuck.
Also just quickly check you can access DIR_GLOBAL from that server (Al11 will do)
