Question:
Hi all, I have some problems in Absences
When ever i create absence in infotype 2001 for leave type Leave without pay absence for one day as an example, the system directly deducts one day from the basic, in the payslip it will not show which type of deduction is this, it just print the basic deduction, but i like to have the total salary plus it should show the leave without pay wage type for one day and then in net it should display the net salary
I tried to create a wagetype LWP-Deduction, then assigned in "counting class for Valuation of absence for rule type absence without pay, in this case the pay slip just shows no of days absence ie in our case one day without the amount,
Please let me know how to populate this wagetype so that in payslip it shows one day amount
Please this is an urgent issue and i would appreciate if you people can give me the answer as soon as possible,
Answer:
Have a look at view V_512w_B (Valuation bases) for your wage type.
You should have a "valuation Basis and percentage" assigned to your wage type similar to your Overtime wage type.
Example Valuation basis (01) at 100% will valuate the time entry at number of hours times /001.
What valuation basis to use is dependent on your configuration .... for example, we use /001 as Basic Pay hourly rate , /002 as Shift Hourly rate.
