Pls. help me on below cases.
Staff join our co. on 01 July, 2002 and left on 01 Sept, 2003 ant then rejoined on 15 Sept, 2003. When below absence records input in system. Only warming message is shown, but i want an 'error message' so that the absence records cannot be saved.
1. 31 Aug, 2003 -- 05 Sept, 2003
2. 12 Sept,2003 -- 16 Sept, 2003

In V_T582A check an see if infotype 2001 has the 'maintenance after leaving' field set to warning or error, that may be where the problem is..

Hi KB,
The field 'Maint. after leave' is set to 'E' (error) in order to avoid the input of absence record which started and ended within the break before re-join, but it cannot avoid those absence record in which only start date or end date is within the break
