Dear All,
Setup : R/3 40B, SQL 7.0 , WinNT4.0 , DB Size 24 GB...Development Server
I had schedule a dbcc checkdb using the db13 transaction but no errors were displayed and no log displayed.
Then, using the sql query analyzer dbcc checkdb was executed while R/3 was running
The result was " Connection Broken "
Again I executed after stopping the R/3 , the results is as follows.

" dbcc results
checkdb found 0 allocation error and 0 consistency errors in database .
Connection Broken

The checkdb process took only 5 minutes or so.
Pls. let me know whether the time taken for the checkdb process is appropriate and also the error " Connection Broken "

5 minutes for 24 gig sounds about right depending on your hardware. I am assuming some new hardware since your DB is so small.
