Question:
My problem is that in my report, sometimes, the amounts have different currencies. I want ALV to display the subtotals/totals by the different currencies and not sum them all up even if they have different currencies.

but what it does is it does not show the subtotal/total all together if the items within have different currencies.

I'm not quite sure how to implement it. Can you give more concrete explanations? Or perhaps specify the exact field names?

The (sub)totals per currency should always appear automatically if the field is of a currency type (e.g. bseg-wrbtr).

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried your suggestion but I still get the same result. An "X" is displayed in the subtotal line of the amounts column whenever there are different currencies involved.
Do you have any idea why this is happening?

I tried to modify the function I use for outputting the ALV list. Before I used the BLOCK format because I wanted to display a grand summary table (subtotals and totals) only below the actual ALV table.
I modified it to just use the simple list and now the different currencies totaling works fine. But is there a way to still make the currency totaling work with the BLOCK outputting?
