Hi,
How to compare the time with another time. For instance
Time A is 21:30:00 (today's time). It has to be compared with time B is 06:45:00 (tommorow time).
How does system recognize that which is latest time. which time format it follows : 24 hr / 12 hr .
Is there any FM ?

if both time lie on a same day how does SAP know whether it is am or pm??

If the time is less than 12:00 then it is am. Othewise pm.

If both the times are in AM / PM format then how to compare both of them for a same day.
Answer:
If the time is always in 12 hour format, and there is no indicator of whether it is am or pm, then you can't differentiate.
