i have a doubt. is it possible to create a hierarchical list in simple ineractive report . not in a grid control . a simple interactive report.
if yes can you specify the function modules to be used. peice of code would be of real help.

Yes it's possible. It's how it used to be done before ALV etc. was invented. Simple, interactive list processing. BC405, I think used to be the course. Sorry, don't know of any FM you can just plug in and make it work. You'll have to program this one.
Why not be really adventurous and use the Tree Control to create a tuly hierarchical report?
