We are in 4.7d. I have a requirement to add a field to a standard report MCSK (rmcy7110). The user wants to be able to view the batch for the movement type 601. I checked the batch stocks table but couldnt reference for this movement type. Is there any other table from which I can determine the batch based on movement type

Transaction MB51 sounds like what you need. You can select by movement type and see the batch used. This transaction looks at tables MKPF and MSEG.
