Question:
The requirement is something like this.
We need to simulate the following steps
Goto transaction CO02, Hit F6, Select one of the line items and click on the Batch Determination icon which is at the bottom. It goes to a new screen were we have the list of Batches, we need to now click on the COPY button. Finally hit Save.
All this needs to be done with the help of a BAPI or a Function module or some process.
Please provide your inputs.

I have found a function module i.e CO_MK_BATCH_DET_PI_SHEET which will perform the Batch determination, but this is only half way. This function module only gives us the Batches for a given item of the production order.
I am not able to commit these details to the database i.e RESB table and transaction CO02.
