I am trying to determien if a date is an actaul owrking day or not. I thought I could just use the FM DATE_CONVERT_TO_FACTORYDATE but this doesn't include local public holidays.
How can I check if a date is a local public holiday or not

How is that that DATE_CONVERT_TO_FACTORYDATE doesn't include public holidays? I guess that your plant calender is wrong.

I wish. It turns out we haven't maintained our public holiday calendar so basically every day is aussumed to be a working day - it seems we work harder up here in Glasgow
