please help me....my problem is
a number is (equipment number) uploaded into internal table from a flat file.....i have to select date, organisation etc. from different tables for that particular equipment number and then populate the data into transparent table for that
my problem is how to upload data(organisation etc.) into data base table for that particular equipment number?

Hi,
The correct way to update your DB tables is to use FM, BAPI or batch inputs.
Do a search on equipment and you will find the correct BAPIs to upload and change equipment master data.
