In sm35 there are some batches which are still in processing and the user wants us to unlock those batches.I am not a technical person,so i would appreciate if you could explain me how to unlock it.

Session has status "Processing", but is not running: The session was
set to "Processing" due to a system crash. You can reactivate this
session using transaction SM35 and the RELEASE function and can then
process it without loss of data. (See also SAP Note 12222.)
I've learned something myself here - that we have around half a metric [bleep]load of unprocessed sessions sitting around on our system. Some of them are over a year old.
