Can someone explain to me the concept of BAPI/BDC session?
If it's not asking for too much, can someone also explain the concept of interfacing wherein an file from an external system will be mapped to SAP. How should I design the program? What should I consider?

I am sorry to say, the best way is to enrol yourself into an ABAP course and learn these things, coz., it is very difficult to explain these things in a forum.
or if you have time and patience try to use the SAP help and you can learn it by yourself.
