F4 Help

Question: How do I set the positioning of the screen which I get at the time of F4 help.I am using function F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST
but is it possible to set the positiong of the search screen.

Answer:
AFAIK you can't preset the position.

But why do you want to set it at a certain location? It's just a popup and you can drag all around the screen.

Answer:
Actually the User wants it.In there earlier legacy system the used to
get it.Is there any way out.

Answer:
Sorry - do you actually mean pre-determine the selection (rather than the position of the pop-up box on the screen)?

Answer:
Perhaps if you explain to the user that it will cost him an extra day's development, he'll decide he doesn't really need it.

I mean, the business is hardly likely to fall from profit if his window isn't in the right place!

I'm afraid he means the actual positioning....

Follow m@t's advice.

What happens if the user decides he wants purple windows with green slidebars and font Courier, font size 12, just because he had it in the legacy system?

Sometimes as a developer you should voice your opinion and dare to say: NO! NO! NO!

And then ask that user: if you can't have it, will you not be able to perform your function properly?
