What r the points considered before making BDC
ie whether two go for call transation method or Batch Input Method.
How is it gets decided for which method to go.

Answer:
Under the assumption that we can only choose either Call transaction or Batch input session, I guess the condition may be like this..
1. Transaction data is dependent on the state other data. (May be typical for change.)
Yes> Call transaction. (Enqueue and update data immediately)
2. Requires to record log and standard transaction doesn't have log.
Yes> Batch input session.
3. Needs to consider re-processing.
Yes> Batch input session.
4. May need to do ad-hoc data change through screen.
Yes> Batch input session.
I personally prefer Idoc/API than BDCs though.
