Hello fellow Abapers,
I am writing a program whose date selection should be restricted to only the start date of payroll periods. I would like to use the function module F4_DATE, but highlight in red the dates that the user would be able to use (payroll dates). This would be similar to how the pop up calendar works when specifying a holiday or factory calendar. Does anyone know of a way to do this without creating a factory or holiday calendar?
If this is not possible then would anyone have any other suggestions. I basically want to provide a pop box for help on dates, but I want to restrict the dates based on payroll period start dates.

AFAIK the only way to do this is with a holiday / factory calendar - you can have as many of these in your system as you like though, so I don't understand why you don't want to create a new one?
