I'm having trouble finding out how to update table T185 (Screen Sequence Control: Paths Between processing location). Can anyone tell me how to update this table, perhaps through a transaction code?

SM31 + "customizing" button (it's true for a lot of customizing tables), or directly thru transaction VFBS.
