Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to create a quickview to a query. The documentation says use t-code SQ01 and then menu path Query -- Convert QuickView, however this menu selection has been greyed out and cannot be selected. Does anyone know why I cannot select this option on the menu path? I am using 4.7.

Answer:
When you are in SQ01 make sure you are in the 'Standard Area' (you can choose to be there using menu path Environment > Query Areas), you can only convert Quickviews to Queries when you are in the Standard Area.

When converting my quickview to a query, no user group is appearing in the conversion screen. I can enter my quickview name and my userid is displayed. When I press Enter, the query destination is displayed, but the user group box is grayed out and cannot be modified. According to the help, the combination of quickview and user group will generate the infoset in the background, but I cannot enter the user group. I have assigned myself to the user group, so shouldn't that default the user group value?

Is this a new User Group (are there any other queries/infosets assigned to it)?
Have you got access to Query fully as well as Quickviewer?
Ensure you are in the right User Group and that you are in the right Query Area.
