Can anyone tell me how can we transfer objects in SAP?
Answer:
To move objects from one system to another, SAP has provided a "Transport Control System", accessible via SE09 or SE10 Tcodes.
Depending on which version you are in,
-. Assign the object to "development class" or a "package"
-. If you assign them to a valid class/package, the system will prompt you for a "transport request number".
-. If you do not have a transport request number, and are unable to create it yourself, contact your basis admin.
-. if you are able to create one, then create a new transport and assign it to the objects.
Once you are done with your development/testing, you need to provide your basis admin with your transport request number for it to be released and transported/applied to QA & or Prod. Once released, you cannot modify it. If you have want to, you have to assign it to a new Transport request. At this time, SAP creates a new version for you.
Every company/installation does change control differently. You may want to find out how it's done at your site.
