Hello Folks
I have two questions.
1. I would like to know if there is a way to default certain values for a transaction globally. For eg. If I call XD01, I would like to default Sales Org '1000', how do I do that ? I know I can set Transaction Variants for Custom Transactions, and call it that way, but I am looking for SAP Standard Transactions.
2. I know at an individual level, I can set the parameter ID (specific to the user) if available for that field to the desired value in SU3. IS there any way to handle fields that do not have parameter ID's ?

Look into transaction variants using transaction SHD0
You can cover both of your requirements from this transaction.
