Question:
I have executed a Query 0PP_C10_Q0001 , I am getting values in the the cell containing the "*" and if I look at the Formula Bar at the top of the spreadsheet, the value is there.
Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem.

RSCUSTV4 (SPRO -> Reporting Relevant Settings -> Presenting numeric values in Bex).
This may point you to what those characters are. You can also change them to be a little more descriptive. (We did) It has been so long since I had changed them in our system, I forget which one "*" or"X" represent.
Though it may be due to a collision of Calculations in KF's. But this should give you a start.

There is a formula you can use called NODIMM which might get rid of the * sign. I believe it ignores the units.
