I am Trying to access BW Query designer from start menu. I open a query in the designer and then try and click on change and get this message!
Lock against external changes
? operation failed, no errormessage available from the server
How do i get to be able to cgo in to change mode! (I AM IN PRODUCTION)

Probably the query is transported from de DEV-system, so you should change the query in dev.

I understand this but I know you can stop this lock and be able to go in to change mode on queries in 'P' I just cannot remember how to do it.
We area at the very early stages of a new BW project and it would be nice just to get rid of this for now.

BW Bill,
Go to RSA1 - Transport Connection - Click the 'object changeability' button.
You can browse through the options using the right mouse button.
Set all things you want to change (eg ELEM) to 'everything changeable'
