Problem
I have made a local installed SAP BW 3.0B from scratch on one server. I have created a user with the profile S_A.SYSTEM and a client copy (001) and created a logical system to the client. Still, I canīt reach the BW administration or Business explorer. Additional work to do?
Answer:
assign SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to your user
for BEx (Business Explorer) you'll need more I guess... S_RS_ALL might be enough actually

Hi,
For BW 3.0B, it is based on the WAS 6.20, "there is another step" after client copy, ie. goto to the SAP j2ee console and set the active client for the instance. refer to the inst. docs.
