Process chain

Question: Hi,

I have three infopackages connected by events to load sequentially. If I choose to have a process chain, should I still have events? If I keep the events, why should I use Process chain? On the other hand if I use PC, can I remove the events and by dragging and dropping infopackages sequentially in the pc, will the pc work? (pc means process chain). Is it enough if I save the infopackages and not click on the start button in the infopackages when I use the pc?

Pl confirm.

Answer:
Using PC will suppress the need of events, so your infopackages needs to be modified, as they are no longer waiting for an event to start (the PC will act like if there was a human being pressing the button immediate start), and you only need to save the infopackage.

Don't forget to schedule your PC, though.

If you're happy with your events, there is no actual need to go for PC, by the way ; PC has been invented to help the life of less technical people ; but is also have some nice monitoring features (you can check the status of your whole PC at a glance)
