Hii All,
We have three issues.
1. Till now we had only two company codes in R/3 and we were getting it correftly.Now we will define one more company code in R/3. Will there be any impact in BW.Do we have to do any thing to get the data of new company code.
2. cost is not coming with standard object 0Material.Our MIS team wants cost of material to the company. i checked the 0Material it doesn't have characteristic for cost.should i use 0Cost.In that case how would i relate cost with material.
3. Do i have to maintain exchange rate in BW or i can fetch it from R/3.

Hi,
1, I think no. But you have to confirm with the functionnal team all modifications they will do for this new integration.
2, Check 0MAT_PLANT because cost are base on 0plant (table MBEW in SAP) and this table is loaded in 0MAT_PLANT master data
3, the best is to maintain it in SAP and to schedule a job to extract it with the frequency you want the job is RSIMPCURR i think (not sure)

Correct. The program RSIMPCURR can be scheduled or run from a process chain.
